1. Handmade “Harry Potter” Golden Snitch Engagement Ring Box
This beautiful golden snitch ring box is the perfect thing for proposing to a Harry Potter fan. It was made by redditor nintendai who used a wooden bed post knob as the foundation for his project. He cut it in half, hollowed out the inside, and then added carvings and gold paint. The finishing touch is two gold spray-painted wings attached to either side.
“The entire process took a couple of weeks (on and off because I had to keep on hiding it from her) and was the first time I actually built anything. It was an extremely rewarding process and she absolutely loved the time, thought, and effort I put into it. Hopefully this design might help some other people come up with creative ideas for their engagements!”
I don’t see how anyone could say no to this proposal.
2. Tinker Bell Engagement
On the occasion of Tinker Bell “[amazon text=Secret of the Wings&asin=B009VB7P6G]” being played in my cinema, I decided to share with you this engagement ring box I completed in March for Christopher from USA. He came to me with this idea and few reference photos of lantern and Tinker Bell from Disney movie, so it was easy to understand what he wanted, I liked the concept and agreed to make it for him.
I laser cut the whole lantern in acrylic plastic sheets and painted gold. The top section was made of stacked circles glued together filled with filler and sanded to get the cone shape. Inside this part, there is compartment for 3 button batteries and white LED which can be switched on and off by twisting the top part.This part would be easier to fabricate with Reprap 3d printer, I plan to build one in near future. On the bottom part there is quote Chris chose: “A dream is a wish your heart makes” which comes from the song from Disney’s [amazon text=Cinderella&asin=B009ITM7CS]. It was also build as stack of acrylic circles, letters are cut in stheet of paper and sticked around it.
The figurine of Tinker Bell was sculpted in [amazon text=Green Stuff&asin=B0028BZQIK] and painted with [amazon text=Valleyo acrylic paints&asin=B000PCBUG6]. The process was similiar to the one described in detail in my other build Toy Story Box here. The little wings are made of transparent acetate plastic with pattern engraved with sharp knife.
I am very satisfied how this project turned. It is good looking collectible. From What I know, Chris proposed to his girlfriend in Disneyland, she said YES and liked her box. Another satisfied customer. I wish you both all the best, have a great wedding and live happily ever after!
3. Acorn Engagement Ring Box
This box is turned from Oak that grew on the Campus at Elon University. David and Rachel are graduating this spring and he asked me to make him a special box with Elon ties for the engagement ring when he asked Rachel to marry him. I did, he did, she said "yes", and the rest is the happily ever after part of the story.
The box is roughly three and a half inches tall and two inches across, flocked in black with a satin ring holder inserted. Now that the box has served its first purpose the insert can be removed and the box used as a treasure box as they move through life.
4. "Up House" Engagement Ring Box
The final product came out perfect.. I received it when he said it would be completed. I would use Robert again with any futher projects he is able to help me on. The price was higher then I would like to pay for the item, but after getting it and seeing all the work it took and the detail work Robert did, it was worth every penny. Thank you Robert for making my girlfriend's day!!!!!

These are ring gift / display boxes made from brand new LEGO® bricks to go with most of my rings, they have LEGO® hinges on one side so the lid can lift up. The Boxes are available in Black, Red, Blue and White and you can also have a different colour stripe of colour near the top of the box, if you want the box all one colour select the same colour stripe as the box.
These can also be used as a unique box for your engagement ring or wedding rings, depending on the size of your rings (see box dimensions below) you can fit 2 wedding rings in the box and there is flat 2 x 2 plate that fits on top to keep the rings from falling out. If your unsure your wedding rings will fit in the box please contact me as I can make it bigger if needs be.
The dimensions of the Ring box on the outside are height 22mm length 47mm width 47mm and on the inside they are height 13mm length 32mm width 32mm. The block in the middle is about 15.7mm in diameter and will fit ring sizes L (USA 6) and upwards.

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy custom engagement ring box. This ring box is based on the book and features a three-dimensional representation of the audiobook cover on the exterior and the movies version of the spaceship, the Heart of Gold, with Marvin the Paranoid Android.
