Rowling has never kept her distaste for President Trump a secret, even calling him worse than Voldemort, and she has remained vocal in her opposition to him ever since his election in November. On Monday, the writer tweeted a Winston Churchill quote: "You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life."
While Rowling didn't give the tweet any context, it's likely that the quote was in reference to all those who are standing up to the President, his temporary refugee ban, and the Global Gag Rule.
