J.K. Rowling Shut Down A Troll With One Wonderfully Brutal Tweet

We all know J.K. Rowling is good at writing about wizarding worlds, but she might be even better at writing fire tweets. On Monday afternoon, she got into a war of words with a Trump supporter, which resulted in Rowling calling the troll a "lonely virgin." She sure doesn't hold back!

Rowling has never kept her distaste for President Trump a secret, even calling him worse than Voldemort, and she has remained vocal in her opposition to him ever since his election in November. On Monday, the writer tweeted a Winston Churchill quote: "You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life."

While Rowling didn't give the tweet any context, it's likely that the quote was in reference to all those who are standing up to the President, his temporary refugee ban, and the Global Gag Rule. Someone on Twitter, however, using the name Frogulus Pepe, thought it was more fitting the other way around, arguing that Trump "stands up for something very very good" and that Rowling is just one of his enemies. Oh, and he gave her the pretty unimaginative nickname "Mrs Shitty Writer." I think let's leave the creative writing to the professionals, don't you think Frogulus?

J.K. Rowling's tweets have become almost as famous as her entire Harry Potter series, and after watching this exchange, it's easy to see why.

J.K. Rowling shuts down ex-fan who set fire to 'Harry Potter' books because of her anti-Trump stance

J.K. Rowling didn’t need magic to fire back at these idiots — just her quick wit.

The British author took on some former fans who decided to burn her “Harry Potter” books because of her attacks on Donald Trump.

"@jk_rowling just burned all my Harry Potter books after being a fan for 17 years. The Phils Stone was one of the first books I EVER read," one outraged Twitter user wrote. "I'm upset it has to be that way.. You embarrassed me, disgusted me, and I will never read your work again #ThankyouFor17Years"

Rowling wasted no time firing back at the disgruntled user, writing, "Guess it's true what they say: you can lead a girl to books about the rise and fall of an autocrat, but you still can't make her think."

Once stumbling upon another tweet from a former "Harry Potter" fan who said they would burn the books and movies, Rowling delivered another snappy reply.

"Well, the fumes from the DVDs might be toxic and I've still got your money, so by all means borrow my lighter," she wrote.

The 51-year-old has been an outspoken detractor of Donald Trump despite being a resident of England.

Her most recent tweet on Wednesday thanked her true fans for support after being barraged with hateful Tweets.

"I'd just like to thank everyone sending me lovely messages, which greatly outnumber the bad ones," she wrote, jokingly adding, "I'm now off to produce more kindling..."

J.K. Rowling Is Shutting Down Readers Who Burned All Their Harry Potter Books

After one former Harry Potter fan tweeted at J.K. Rowling to say she had burned her Harry Potter books in response to the author's criticism of President Donald Trump, Rowling had a few choice words for the disgruntled Twitter user.

"Guess it's true what they say: you can lead a girl to books about the rise and fall of an autocrat, but you still can't make her think," she captioned a screenshot of the online message, which read, "just burned all my Harry Potter books after being a fan for 17 years.
