N.J. school closings, delayed openings (Friday, March 10, 2017)
Snow that was expected to begin late Thursday and that could drop four inches or more of snow to parts of New Jersey before tapering off Friday afternoon has led to dozens of school closures across much of the state.
Here's a county-by-county list of schools that have already announced the will either open later or not at all on Friday; click on the live links for opening and closure info for that county. Additional schools will be added as districts announce closures.

Jackson-area school closings for Friday, March 10
Wednesday's windstorm still is wreaking havoc on some Jackson-area schools where power is concerned.
As of 5 p.m. Thursday, March 9, more than 20,000 customers in Jackson County still are without power - nearly twice as many as any other county in the state. In the city of Jackson, 11,209 customers are without power.
Classes are being canceled Friday, March 10, in the school districts still affected by this outage. Here's a list that will be updated as cancellations come in.
Columbia School District
Jackson Christian -- elementary school only. Middle school and high school open
Lumen Christi Catholic School
Napoleon Community Schools -- daycare is open
Paragon Charter Academy
T.A. Wilson Academy -- all other Jackson Public Schools are open
