Tomi Lahren 'banned permanently' from The Blaze: report

Conservative millennial firebrand Tomi Lahren has been "banned permanently" from Glenn Beck's The Blaze, according to a report in The New York Post.

The reported banning comes after Lahren, 24, was criticized in some conservative circles following a March 17 appearance on ABC’s "The View" in which she revealed that she supports abortion rights.

“You know what? I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well,” Lahren said at the time.

Her program, "Tomi," was reportedly suspended for a week beginning on March 20. The Blaze never made any official announcement or provided a reason why the show was pulled for the week. But Beck took to Twitter to question whether Lahren, whom he hired in 2015, is intellectually honest.
On March 20, Lahren tweeted that she has “moderate, conservative, and libertarian views.”

“I'm human. I will never apologize, to anyone, for being an independent thinker," she wrote.

Beck, a former Fox News host, shot back at Lahren: “Wait, libertarian views? Help me out on Trumpcare, stimulus, and executive orders. Trump is anything but libertarian,” he wrote, while adding the hashtag #intellectualhonesty.

Lahren has 4.3 million followers of her Facebook page and more than 680,000 followers on Twitter.

Lahren told The Hill she is unable to comment at this time.

Tomi Lahren Permanently Banned from The Blaze: Report

Well, in a stunning twist of irony, it turns out that conservatives won’t stand for Tomi Lahren being pro-choice or calling them out for being hypocrites on abortion laws. Just who exactly are the real snowflakes?

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, the former conservative sweetheart is now permanently banned from Glenn Beck’s multi-platform network, The Blaze, after taking a pro-choice stance and calling out conservatives who stan for small government but want to legislate women’s bodies.

“Glenn is reminding the world of his conservative principles by sidelining Tomi after she insulted conservatives by calling them hypocrites,” one insider told Page Six’s Richard Johnson.

How the tables have turned.

Lahren was suspended from The Blaze last week after appearing on The View and making her opinion very clear.

“I am pro-choice, and here’s why,” she said. “I am someone that loves the Constitution, I am someone that’s for limited government, so I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think that the government should decide what women do with their bodies. I can sit here and say that as a Republican, and I can say, ‘You know what? I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns and you can stay out of my body as well,’” she said.

A source told Page Six that Beck is trying to win back his conservative die hards and unify the country. He surprised many late last year when he said that Barack Obama made him a better man.

“He’s trying to balance being a leading conservative thinker and also someone who can unify the country,” the source said. “He just couldn’t sit by and watch as Tomi Lahren said there’s no way for conservatives to justify anything other than being pro-choice.”

Tomi Lahren ‘banned permanently’ from The Blaze

Conservative firebrand Tomi Lahren has reportedly been “banned permanently” from The Blaze.

Ms Lahren was suspended last week after flip-flopping on abortion and declaring herself pro-choice. Now, sources close to Glenn Beck’s network say that she has been banned permanently.

“Glenn is reminding the world of his conservative principles by sidelining Tomi after she insulted conservatives by calling them hypocrites,” one insider told the New York Post.

"He’s trying to balance being a leading conservative thinker and also someone who can unify the country... He just couldn’t sit by and watch as Tomi Lahren said there’s no way for conservatives to justify anything other than being pro-choice.”

Earlier this month, Ms Lahren announced that she was pro-choice during an appearance on ABC’s daytime show, The View.

She also said that its hypocritical for conservatives to be in favor of limited government while opposing abortion.

“I am someone that’s for limited government," she said. "So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government, but I think the government should decide what women should do with their bodies.”

Shortly after the report surfaced on Sunday, Ms Lahren seemed to issue a vague response on Twitter. "Never do the envy, jealousy and insecure stuff," she wrote. "Be the hustler, the well-wisher, the go-getter."
