Up to 3,000 passengers and staff have been evacuated from three rail terminals in Moscow on Monday following bomb threats, according to Russia's state-run news agency Sputnik.
"Phone calls warning of bombs at the Kazansky and Leningradsky railway stations prompted evacuations of a thousand of people from each site. Further 750 people were evacuated from the Yaroslavsky station. We are waiting for explosive-sniffing dogs," Sputnik, the English language version of RIA Novosti, said Monday citing a source in the emergency services.

MOSCOW, Dec 26 (Reuters) - Russian police said on Monday they had not found any explosive devices at three Moscow railway stations that were evacuated earlier in the day after a bomb scare, the TASS news agency reported.
TASS earlier said police had evacuated almost 3,000 people from the Kazansky, Leningradsky and Yaroslavsky railway stations after receiving an anonymous bomb threat.
All three stations are located on the same square in central Moscow.

MOSCOW, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Nearly 3,000 people were evacuated from three Moscow train stations Monday after a phoned-in bomb threat, although police said no bombs were found.
An anonymous telephone caller told Russia's Federal Security Service that one or more explosive devices were planted in Moscow's Kazansky, Leningradsky and Yaroslavsky stations. All three stations are on Komsomolskaya Square in northeast Moscow.
Train passengers and station staff were moved to safety as police arrived with explosives-sniffing dogs. Fire departments, ambulances and rescue units stood by, although there were no reports of injuries. Police later confirmed no explosives were found.
