Get free pancakes on National Pancake Day
SAN ANTONIO - International House of Pancakes is giving away a free short stack to every customer who dines in the restaurant on Tuesday.
Participating locations will serve "pancakes with a purpose" from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations extending the free pancake hours to 10 p.m.
In exchange for a free short stack of pancakes, IHOP is asking customers to donate to its charitable partners, including Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
IHOP hopes to raise $3.5 million for children battling critical illnesses.

IHOP restaurants in Portage and beyond are supporting a good cause for National Pancake Day.
For the last 12 years, IHOP has been raising money for the Children's Miracle Network.
And today if you give a donation, you get free pancakes in return.
Their goal this year is to raise $3.5 million for Children's Miracle Network hospitals programs.
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., you can drop by and get a free short stack of pancakes in exchange for your donation.
Since the first National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP has raised $24 million.
The manager at the Portage location, Manuel Llamas tells us this is a very personal thing for his family.
"It's really important, for families, for myself, I have a disabled kid and the Children's Miracle hospital helped us a couple of times, so at least for my own personal it is real important, and I believe for all our IHOP's it's the same," he said.
