Andi Dorfman's Reason for Crashing Nick Viall's Season of The Bachelor Revealed

The ex is back!

Nick Viall isn't the only Bachelor Nation alum who can stage a surprise return, as Andi Dorfman, the former Bachelorette who turned Nick's proposal down in season 10, showed up at Nick's hotel room door on The Bachelor's Feb 20 episode, simply saying, "Hello, Nick," just before the episode ended. Talk about a tease.

While fans will have to wait until next week's episode to see the highly anticipated reunion go down, a source exclusively tells E! News, "Everyone who's wanted to see Nick and Andi face to face again will get what they want. It's their first time discussing their relationship since After the Final Rose on Andi's season."

Of course, Nick infamously revealed to the world that he and Andi had sex during their time in the Fantasy Suite during that sitdown, and Andi later wrote a tell-all book about her time on the show, including her relationship with Nick. The book, It's Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak Into Happily Never After, became a topic of conversation during Nick's time on Bachelor in Paradise as Andi's former fiance (and Nick's rival) Josh Murray flat-out denied what she wrote of their relationship. Nick, however, had a different opinion.

"What Andi does is she has a tendency of omitting information," Nick told E! News in August of Andi's book. "That being said, the things that are written about me, as far as like the events that happened and things that were said, a large part of it did happen, so I can't say that it's a fictional book. It might be missing some information, but a lot of the things she wrote about did happen."

So what can viewers expect from Nick and Andi's reunion in Monday's episode?

Josh Murray Thinks His Ex-Fiancée Andi Dorfman and Nick Viall 'Should Have Ended Up Together'

Andi Dorfman‘s surprise visit to her ex Nick Viall on Monday night’s episode of The Bachelor left fans dying to know whether a reconciliation might be in the cards — and there’s certainly one person who thinks that might be for the best.

“I think they’re perfect for each other, to be honest,” Dorfman’s ex-fiancé Josh Murray told Entertainment Tonight‘s Lauren Zima during a Facebook Live interview on Monday.

“Knowing both of the people and who they are, they should have ended up together,” he said.

Of whether or not he thinks Viall’s relationship with his final pick will last, Murray said he’s “very pessimistic when it comes to what I feel like the intentions are at the end.”

“I feel like I know Nick pretty well, and I wish the girls luck for sure,” he added.

Of course, Murray, 32, and his on-screen rival Viall, 36, were the two finalists on Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette in 2014. Dorfman, 29, ultimately picked Murray, though the two broke off their engagement in January 2015 after eight months together.

A little over a year later, Dorfman released a tell-all memoir about her experience with the Bachelor franchise — and in particular, the reasons behind her split from Murray, claiming he was controlling, paranoid and verbally abusive.

Dorfman’s book went on to become a point of contention during Murray’s Bachelor in Paradise stint last summer. After he struck up a romance with Amanda Stanton, several BiP costars — including Viall — brought up Dorfman’s allegations as a source of concern. Murray, for his part, denied the accusations and said the book was “a fictional story.” (Murray and Stanton have since broken off their engagement, though Murray confirmed they are now talking again.)

“That’s [Dorfman’s] way of making money and stuff, and that’s great, and if I’ve got to be the fall guy for everything in whatever her stories are, then whatever,” Murray told ET on Monday of the memoir, adding that he has “no intentions of ever seeing or talking” to Dorfman again.

“It’s very tempting to tell the truth,” he continued, explaining that he’s been asked to write a book, but hasn’t because he doesn’t want to attack people. “There could be a book written that would be very, very bad, but that’s not something I want to do.”

Ultimately, Murray advises any future Bachelor nation contestants to stay true to themselves.

“Always be yourself,” he warned. “Because they’re going to portray you how they want to portray you for the storyline.”

Andi Dorfman Posted the Perfect Reactions to Her Surprise Visit With Bachelor Nick Viall: See Them!

As if he didn't have enough problems on his hands already. Andi Dorfman surprised Nick Viall at the end of The Bachelor's Monday, February 20, episode, and although viewers didn't get much of a sense of why she dropped by, the former Bachelorette shared two hilarious tweets about her unexpected visit.

Viall, 36, had a bumpy hometowns episode on February 20, particularly as a result of his meeting with Vanessa's dad, who wasn't pleased that the two-time Bachelorette runner-up had asked each of the families for their blessings. When this was finally behind him, Viall got a knock on his hotel door, and he saw Dorfman, who picked Josh Murray over him during her season 10 finale of The Bachelorette in 2014. (Dorfman and Murray ended their nine-month engagement in January 2015.)

Shortly after this week's Bachelor episode aired, Dorfman, 29, posted a GIF of Bill Hader's popular Saturday Night Live character Stefon blithely waving hello.

The next day, she tweeted a photo of herself jokingly (we hope) starting to choke Viall, adding the message, "When your ex be like … ummm wtf are you doing here?"

So what is she doing there? A promo for next week's episode gives a few glimpses at their tense conversations. Viall tells Dorfman, "This is very unexpected." He then asks, "What am I supposed to say?" and she replies, "You're supposed to be honest!"

Dorfman and Viall have not been the best of friends since parting ways in her finale, although Viall has previously said that the two of them still keep in touch periodically. Her recent book, It's Not Okay, included revelations about her time with both Viall and Murray, and while Murray has dismissed her passages about him as "fictional," Viall has said that he himself did not disagree with too much of what she wrote about him.
