'Game of Thrones' Season 7 teaser hints at the coming war
Get ready for war.
A new teaser for the seventh season of Game of Thrones was released on Thursday, and while it didn't give too much away, it gave some strong hints about the conflicts to come.
The footage, which looks like it may have been shot specifically for this promo, shows our three remaining contestants for the Iron Throne (Cersei, Jon and Daenerys) taking long walks to their own personal thrones. Jon takes his seat at Winterfell, where he was declared King in the North at the end of Season 6, Cersei takes her place on the Iron Throne after fire-bombing her way there, and Dany takes a seat we haven't seen before -- but our money is on Dragonstone, indicating she will maybe have reached Westeros by the time the season begins after setting sail with her new allies. And all while Sit Down plays by James. They have a theme, for sure.
We also know that winter finally, finally has come, as Cersei exhales some frosty breath, indicating that even in southern King's Landing, things are getting cold. And that is not good news for any of them, because there's another King in the mix: the Night King of the White Walkers.
